All Good Things Must Come to an End….

Well, it happened. This week has become the week that my 17 month old decided he doesn’t need 2 naps a day. He has dropped the 2nd nap, which has cut my computer time significantly. I KNOW, I KNOW, I’ve been completely spoiled that he has continued to take 2 naps a day for this long.

Please bear with me this week while we are adjusting to this change; I’m not sure when or for how long I’ll be able to blog during the day. The past 2 days he’s taken his morning nap, but wouldn’t nap in the afternoon. Today I tried keeping him up until after lunch so he could nap in the afternoon. But by 10:00 am he was a cranky, tired, sleepy little guy. So off to bed he went :)

Blog at night you suggest? Ah yes, but I’m usually an exhausted, comatose wreck by the time dishes are done, the kitchen is clean, and the kids are in bed. Any and all witty, interesting posts I wrote in my head during the day are but a faint memory as I have trouble even remembering what I had for breakfast. I’m considering using a mini tape-recorder to record my ideas before I forgot them. I think I might have gotten the idea from glblguy at Gather Little By Little?

Maybe it’s time to set my alarm clock and wake earlier in the morning? sigh…

  2. Not sure if you got it from me, but I carry one with me all the time. I also blog early in the morning before everyone else is up. Write articles in the morning, and respond to comments, etc in the evening.

Good luck, you’ll adjust. Talk to PaidTwice (www.paidtwice.com) she blogs with 2 kiddos at home.

  3. glblguy,
I remember reading the “voice recorder” idea on a blog somewhere. I thought it might have been yours?

Anyway, it’s a good idea and I’m going to give it a try.
