Yummm….dinner at Firebirds Grill tonight…My husband’s boss’s boss (did you follow all that?) is taking us out to dinner tonight. Some of my husband’s coworkers and their wives will be joining us too. The boss is treating so it will be a fun cheap night out with the hubby. Only cost to us will be paying the babysitter. We have asked a relative to watch the kids. My youngest (16 months) is a handful and I’m still nervous about having our regular babysitter take on all three kids. We are going to pay our relative for watching the boys; she uses gas money to drive to see us and is older and on a tight income. She’s never taken money before, but I might just slip the money in a card and give it to her at the end of the night so she’ll have to take it
Today was payday so I just paid all the bills and updated the checking account register. Was able to put some money down on the debt, so now we have paid off a total of $20,635.84.
I had mentioned selling our truck before and now that are back from vacation we are ready to take action. What’s the problem? We need to figure out if we should truly sell the truck, or sell one of the other vehicles. On the way back from our Maine trip (yeah, 16+ hours in a car gives you a lot of time to talk) we listed out the pros and cons of selling and keeping each vehicle. I think listing them on paper might make it easier to compare and make the right decision.
