It’s the Little Things that Count

Sometimes I look at how much debt we have left to pay ($39,205) and I get overwhelmed. It’s then that I take a step back and look at how much we have paid off so far ($19, 139). We didn’t do that in one lump sum (although we did have one large deposit that helped) but it was mostly lots of little things here and there.

So it will be lots of little payments that will get us to our goal.

Right now I have $25.67 that just got deposited for doing surveys. There are checks totaling $115.79 waiting to be mailed off to the bank (I’m waiting until the end of the month for anymore that might come in).

These are all from little things I’m doing to help us get out of debt.

What little things have you done this week?

  2. I just found your site on MyBlogLog. You are doing great! I’ll definitely be checking back to see how you’re doing with your goal!

  3. I’m a fan of Dave Ramsey’s show and concepts. I’m not as diligent as I’d like to be with my finances. Not in debt… and I don’t want to be. I think it is such a blessing that you are taking control. I’m glad I found your blog - watching people online get out of debt is very inspiring.

What little things am I doing? I’m responsible for the food shopping and purchasing of our household goods and I KNOW I can learn how to scale back in that regard.

  6. Can you tell me where you are able to do survey’s and get paid for them that are the real deal and not some scam?
